ADMISSIONS

Hancock Nursery School admits children without regard to the child’s or family’s race, color, national origin or ancestry, cultural heritage, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, family structure, disability, genetic information, veteran status, housing status, religion, political beliefs, or any other classification protected by law.

We welcome applications from all interested families from Lexington and surrounding communities. We accept children starting from 2 years 9 months to 5 years.  Hancock Nursery School welcomes children with special needs and works closely with the Lexington Early Childhood Special Education Department to ensure a smooth transition to school. 

Each fall we host an open house for new families to come an tour our school and meet our staff.  Enrollment applications are accepted after the open house.  All existing and alumni families are 

Application Process Begins: October 1, where current and alumni families as well as children of staff are given admission priority.  Prospective families are encouraged to attend our open house in mid October.  Applications from new families can be submitted starting at our open house.
